Paisa Vasool Review: Poor second half wastes the hard work of Balakrishna
Every time a Puri Jagannadh film releases, audience throng the theatres with an open mind. Though the film had a insane combination and many surprises, everyone believed that the director would stage a grand comeback with this film. The movie featured Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shriya Saran in the lead role and Vikramjeet Virk, Musskan Sethi, Kyra Dutt, Kabir Bedi, Alok Jain, Prudhviraj in the supporting roles.Here is our Honest review of Paisa Vasool Movie.
Plot: Balakrishna plays the role of a cab driver, Theda Singh in Portugal. Staying right opposite to the house is a girl called Harika (Muskaan) along with her mother. Harika is in search of her sister Sarika (Shreya) who goes to Portugal on her work.
Theda Singh (Nandamuri Bala Krishna) comes to Hyderabad, who is a gangster.
The hype surrounding Paisa Vasool had helped it register good advance booking for its opening day.
APNC VERDICT: Finally, On a whole Balayya’s Paisa Vasool movie is a wholesome entertainer which has Balayya’s energy as basic positive agenda to watch for. It aims at being a masala action comedy meant for pure entertainment targeting the lead actor Balakrishna’s fanbase and the director sets out to achieve that right from the word go.
Balakrishna on his part plays his role to perfection and seems to genuinely have a good time bringing his character to life in the film. He perfectly fit into the character which he did with energetic manner. Screenplay of this film is playing important role which getting applause. It is a treat for fans to see Balayya as a live wire. Muskaan and Kyra Dutt end up as eye sweets. The film looks like a combination of past Puri Jagannadh films with best bits taken from each of them. Vikramjeet Virk and Amit Kumar are alright as the baddies, while Ali, Prudhvi and Kabir Bedi couldn’t make their presence felt in insignificant roles.
Anup Rubens has composed the music and background music for this film. Mama Ek Peg La and Title Song will excite the fans. Cinema-tography is just okay.
This is the first film as the combo of Balakrishna and Puri Jagannadh in a film of Tollywood history. He said the director has shown a different Balakrishna, who was not seen on the big screen for so long. Same thing happened with Balayya film as well.
