Kelly Clarkson, Shania Twain to Perform in ‘America’s Got Talent’ Finale
“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 just crowned Darci Lynne as its victor!
As “America’s Got Talent” heads into its two-part Season 12 finale this week, Darci Lynne Farmer remains one of the finalists still standing.
Comedian Preacher Lawson didn’t get to perform on the AGT stage this evening. “Thank you so much for this opportunity”.
He told her: “We may be sooner rather than later looking back on this performance to go, ‘This is the moment your career started!’ Angelica, you have my absolute respect”.
Want to know who won America’s Got Talent season 12?
Darci is a rare one: She’s only the third female to win “America’s Got Talent”. Sure, since she’s tailor-made to have a Las Vegas show at some point.
During the live finale results show, the two of them put on the ultimate ventriloquist act for millions of viewers to enjoy. For the full 2016-17 season, “AGT” is the No. 4 most-watched entertainment series on television, behind only “The Big Bang Theory”, “NCIS” and “The Walking Dead”. Tyra introduces several clips of the contestants joking around in the Dunkin Lounge last night. Contestants Angelica Hale and Kechi kicked off the night by performing Kelly Clarkson’s Stronger with Clarkson herself, and Harvey took the stage with Shania Twain in a lovely duet of You’re Still the One. I thought that she would be part of the top two.
She said another exciting time was when she got the golden buzzer from Mel B.
Sarah and Hero, a dog act, placed fifth. Mandy Harvey, the singer who hits incredible notes despite being deaf, edged out the lightening-fast lyricist Chase Goehring. “All of them, from A to Z”, said judge Levante, a pop singer. Clarkson herself then made an appearance, and the trio finished the song. She’ll be joined by the other finalists.
Hale congratulated Farmer in an Instagram post Tuesday evening, and later announced she will join the ventriloquist at the America’s Got Talent Live show November 3 and November 4 in Las Vegas.
