Pochettino defends his management of Tottenham ‘genius’

Tottenham have now won all three of their away games in the Premier League while scoring eight goals, lessening the impact of their failure to get a top-flight victory at Wembley so far this term. A win over their arch-rivals could build upon this and kickstart their season.

Away trips to West Ham have not provided much more joy in recent seasons, though, and even at this early stage of the campaign defeat in East London could have a significant impact on their title hopes – as it has in both of the past two seasons. A win over top opposition would, moreover, surely secure Slaven Bilic’s position as manager for the immediate future, ending speculation over his replacement.

As reported by the Mirror, Bilic said: “They have patterns, good players and, for me, that makes them one of the best teams probably the most attractive one”. Anyone looking for a riskier play could take Tottenham -1, I think Spurs will cover the handicap.

A 10-man Tottenham Hotspurs beat West Ham 3-2 in the English Premier League (EPL)’s sixth round at the London Stadium on Saturday. At around 12:55 p.m.at the Olympic Stadium, West Ham was buzzing about its home pitch.
