Megyn Kelly shouts out Syracuse on new ‘Today’ show, faces harsh criticisms

They said her only focus in her new segment was to make fans adore Kelly the way she herself adores Kelly.

Kelly’s first and only question for Turner was: “Is it true that you became a lawyer, and became gay, because of Will?”

The premiere of this new “Will & Grace” laughs off the dramatic finale – turns out it was all Karen’s dream/imagination – and updates viewers on the lives of the characters.

On her Fox show, Kelly often made a comparison between LGBT rights and Christian rights. Had she been on the air last week, for example, how could Kelly have talked about the Emmys without also discussing the cameo by former White House press secretary Sean Spicer or the political commentary that permeated the entire awards ceremony?

In the aforementioned taped segment, which was followed by a welcoming toast from the “Today” crew, Kelly asked Kathie Lee Gifford for the secret to success in daytime. Before that, she was a Fox News darling whose TV show pulled in monster ratings, easily clobbering her competition at CNN and MSNBC.

Kelly rose to national prominence (and, to some, infamy) entirely due to politics – from her ultra-political nightly program on Fox News to her clash with then-candidate Donald Trump that began at a Republican presidential debate in 2015.

All of the women are mothers who said they face the realities of raising black children and needing to talk with them about what to do if police pull them over, they said. When Kelly left FNC, conservatives stopped caring about her, and liberals never welcomed her into their fold.

“Deescalating (a situation with) someone who is 6 foot 7, that is already drunk, and you think I am getting ready to break my nails fighting him?” she said.

As for Messing and the Will & Grace cast, we have a hard time thinking that they really needed to do this appearance in the first place given that the excitement around them coming back on TV is so high. “If you take those things away, what are you paying for?” Sound off in the comments! “But a year ago we came together for that little skit and it all just clicked again and we knew we had more stories to tell”.
