Breast cancer is not a death sentence. The national recommendation is for all women over the age of 40 to have a mammogram yearly. This will feel like a nut in the breast.
Other symptoms include swelling, skin irritation or dimpling, pain, nipple retraction, redness or thickening of the nipple or skin on the breast, and discharge of anything from the nipple except breast milk. I bet there are very few people out there who don’t know someone impacted by breast cancer.
