Hugh Hefner to be laid to rest next to Marilyn Monroe

Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner was a visionary who chose not follow societal norms, says Sherlyn Chopra, who was the first Indian woman to pose nude for the lifestyle and entertainment publication. “I’m a sucker for blondes, and she is the ultimate blonde”, he observed.

Organization president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis criticized the coverage of Hefner, calling him a “misogynist” who caused “irreparable damage to women’s rights” in a message posted to Twitter the following morning.

According to Pitzulo, Playboy published its first article supporting the legalization of abortion in 1965, eight years before the Roe v.
