Hugh Hefner to be laid to rest next to Marilyn Monroe
Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner was a visionary who chose not follow societal norms, says Sherlyn Chopra, who was the first Indian woman to pose nude for the lifestyle and entertainment publication. “I’m a sucker for blondes, and she is the ultimate blonde”, he observed.
Organization president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis criticized the coverage of Hefner, calling him a “misogynist” who caused “irreparable damage to women’s rights” in a message posted to Twitter the following morning.
According to Pitzulo, Playboy published its first article supporting the legalization of abortion in 1965, eight years before the Roe v. Wade decision that permitted the practice-and even before the feminist movement had latched onto the cause. “Thanks and thank you for sharing your dream with me and for giving so many girls and so many people an opportunity of a lifetime”.
So sad to hear the news about @HughHefner. We had so many fun & incredible memories together.
Hefner’s former live-in girlfriend, who dated the publishing mogul from 2004-2008 and co-starred on his Girls Next Door reality show, added, “I will miss him so much but he will be in my heart forever”. Rest in peace, Hef.
“It’s gated, guarded, walled, secluded, and hard to find, but that did not stop a parade of tourists and locals alike from coming to the Playboy mansion today in Holmby Hills to take pictures of the outside”. Overnight at the original Playboy Mansion on Chicago’s gold Coast, flowers and cnadles were left in Hefner’s honor.
After several reports surfaced that Hefner’s late wife would inherit nothing following his death due to an ironclad prenup, the insider said Harris “knows how to get around the system”.
Hefner is believed to have amassed an enormous $43 million fortune through the Playboy brand, which helped contribute to the changing attitudes towards sex throughout the 1960s. That dude had a storied life!
