Holyween Trunk or Treat event Sunday in Norway
This provides a safe environment for parents to bring their children for holiday fun.
Just a few blocks away, employees at The News Courier will be handing out candy to costumed visitors from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The festival will feature a costume contest, games, hot dogs and a cakewalk. 390 Antioch Cemetery Rd., Cleveland. The public is invited to attend.
Halloween in the Park at Forty Fort Park, 2 to 4 p.m.

– Beaver Township: Trick or treat, 5-7 p.m. October 31. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site – Nearly 150 acres of lake shore, formal gardens, woods and newly restored wetlands and prairies; 1205 Pleasant Point, Rome City; 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Starts at 6 p.m.at 1001 Main St., Avoca. This, as students from here and surrounding counties, visit one of the many activities being hosted by churches, parks and other organizations in celebration of the annual dress up day.
To replace Mall-O-Ween, the city had proposed a “Trunk or Treat” event, where trick-or-treating would be done from car-to-car in the City Hall parking lot. No charge for admission. Hot dog and chili dinner for $5. A costume contest will begin around 6:30 p.m. Categories are: Preschool & Kindergarten; grades 1 & 2; grades 3-5; grades 6-8; grades 9-12; and adult 18 yrs. and older.
Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre will host Trunk or Treat from 7 until 9 p.m.
Candy will be passed out from decorated trunks. Free carnival games, inflatables, fire truck, cupcake walk, etc. There will be games, candy, food, a haunted house, Dizzy the Clown, and more. A great place to buy Christmas gifts!
