Razer Phone officially launched with the best display in the market

The smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch LCD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Razer Phone is powered by an 8 GB of ram and has 64 GB of on-board storage.

Discussing the double back camera, the cell phone sports 12MP wide-edge sensor with f/1.75 gap and 13MP zoom sensor with f/2.6 gap. Now, they have released a beast of a smartphone, the Razer Phone which is touted to be a serious gamer’s smartphone. The Razer Phone has a total of three cameras. The Razer Phone runs Android Nougat in nearly pure format and it has Nova Prime Launcher built-in. The hardware company has confirmed that the operating system will be upgraded to Oreo in the first quarter of the new year.

The display also boasts of what Razer calls as the Ultramotion technology that essentially syncs the screen refresh rate with the frame rate that the graphics processor outputs. It’s making up for the loss with Dolby ATMOS-fueled front-firing speakers, 24-bit DAC, dual amplifiers, and a THX-certified audio dongle. Razer wanted to build a phone intended for gamers first, and a riff on the Robin, which we called “an awesome 1.o device”, was the best path forward. The side of the phone is also adorned with a fingerprint sensor on the power button.

The new phone features a 6-inch 1440p 18:9 display with minimal bezels – it looks much sleeker than the U11 – and it comes with a more generous 3,930mAh battery too.

The Razer phone will feature 64GB of on-board storage, which be further expanded up to 2TB with an external memory card.

Then again, the Razer Phone, OnePlus 5, and Mi Mix 2 lack an increasingly standard feature on any given flagship smartphone: dust and water resistance. Part of the reason why they are so large is that Razer Phone features dual front-facing stereo speakers.

The Razer Phone has a price tag of around $700 (~₹45,000).

Do you wish more Android manufacturers featured well-known launchers on their devices instead of custom ones? Unsurprisingly though, there’s no headphone jack, which is the future trend, whether we like it or not. Just a USB-C port for charging – though Razer also includes a headphone adaptor if you really need to be plugged in. Sadly there is no word when will the device hit markets like India.
