Sunday’s First Warning Forecast: More clouds, highs in the 50s

Many of us saw low temperatures Saturday morning down in the teens and indeed, some new record lows were established.

Tonight: Gradual clearing with fog developing late.

Monday and Tuesday will be absolutely handsome! Mostly sunny skies return tomorrow as the high reaches 42 degrees.

Sat: High: 56 Low: 35 Sunny and cooler. Overnight lows are in the upper 30s.

Our next cold front looks to arrive late Friday through Saturday morning to bring showers and perhaps a thunderstorm to the area. So, be sure to get outside and enjoy it!

A partly cloudy sky early in the day will give way to an increase in clouds by the afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. “Models indicate that we shouldn’t expect much rain with totals at 1/4” or less for the entire week.

But not before we see a chance of snow showers. Highs will reach the 50s and 60s. Highs top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Overall, no signs of very cold air over the next several days as mild November weather settles in for a while across Green Country! Saturday morning’s low of 18 was only a degree short of the record for November 11, set in 1953. Then Sunday night will be in the low 50s. Clouds will thicken up Monday afternoon with drizzle developing by Monday afternoon.
