Emo-rapper Lil Peep dead at 21

Peep’s manager, Chase Ortega, annouced the sad news on Twitter. “They tell me that it saved their lives”, he said. You will be missed, R.I.P. “She tells me I look like a “little peep” but I don’t really know what a “peep” is”.

According to Gazette Review, Peep’s estimated net worth, as of 2017, was $100,000.

While no official report has been released, countless collaborators, friends and record industry personnel have paid condolences to the rapper on social media.

Many fans are calling out the Xanax culture of the new school of rap artists as part of what killed Lil Peep. He sat in the front row of the Balmain men’s show at Paris Fashion Weekbefore his album debuted.

On social media, a very disturbing and graphic video also circulated that purported to show Lil Peep dead, but its accuracy was not confirmed. The album features the song “Awful Things”, featuring Lil Tracy.

The musician and YouTuber-real name Gustav Åhr-was scheduled to perform a concert in Tucson, Arizona, Wednesday night. So far his videos have been viewed 40 million times and he has over 300,000 subscribers. At present, however, all the merchandize seems to be out of stock.

Following the news of his death, Lil Peep’s girlfriend Arzaylea Rodriguez said she wanted to “wake up from this nightmare” in a devastating Instagram post.

Diplo commented: “Peep had so much more to do man he was constantly inspiring me”.

Celebrities hailing Lil Peep have so far included Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz, Marshmello and Rat Boy.

Close friend Bella Thorne tweeted, “F- I don’t know what to say”.
