Honor 7X Review: Bezel-less smartphone on a budget
It is essentially a re-branded version of the Honor V10, which was launched on November 28 in China.
The V10 comes stocked with the latest Huawei-made internal components, including the Kirin 970 chipset, which brings the Mali G72 GPU into the fold.
We don’t yet have pricing, but Honor announced that the phone will launch for the USA in January, 2018.
You’ll be able to pre-order the Honor 7X in blue or black beginning today for $199, and pre-orders end on December 14. This device will be available in Europe (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Ukraine and Turkey), Russia, United States, Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iran), India and Malaysia.
While the Honor View 10 joins the growing list of new phones launching with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, the Honor 7x has to settle for Android 7.1 Nougat.
That means you’ll get the Mate 10 Pro’s edge-to-edge 5.99-inch display, with a 18:9 aspect ratio and FullHD resolution. The device is priced at £449.99 and will hit stores from January 8. The device continues the trend of 18:9 displays with minimal bezels.
Optics wise, the Honor 7X features dual rear camera setup.
