This year, the Salvation Army says it expects to provide gifts to over 8,000 kids in Hampton Roads.

“We are happy to donate our space to the Salvation Army and if they want to have some children come sing with them, then we absolutely welcome that”, she said.

The campaign also funds children’s programs, emergency disaster services, anti-human trafficking programs, and Christmas assistance for thousands of residents each year.

As well as playing in The Salvation Army Band, Chloe also plays in her school orchestra at St Wilfrid’s Academy, where she is now studying for her A-levels.

Ervin received hand-delivered presents from FedEx on Friday morning.

“We started packing much later because we had a hard time locating the space that we’d been looking for”, she said.

And it is just part of a big wave of giving. For the last 20 years, I have been volunteering for the kettle, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. “Which means that our families that signed up will have the best Christmas ever, I believe”.
