Samsung Galaxy S9 leaks reveal fix to biggest S8 problem
Nearly two months before the launch of two smartphones we have the benchmark scores and design of the smartphones. They actually coincide with one another so we’re totally not left in the dark as to what Samsung is working on. Another interesting aspect here is the operating system. Samsung recently launched their Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus, these handsets have dual front cameras.
The phones will also include Live Focus features that will allow users to adjust the bokeh effect on the background of photos even after the selfie has been taken. The front and rear cameras are both 16MP units and support HDR capture, it would seem.
Samsung has positioned the cameras centrally. This means that the handsets have on-screen navigation buttons since the Infinity Display mandates the removal of hardware buttons. It’s likely in Samsung’s best interest to go for a clean, edge-to-edge display rather than emulating the success of iPhone X, but it’s easy to see that Apple saw some great success with their newest design that could potentially be translated into Samsung’s high-end Android line. The new listing by Phone Arena has been revealed which draws a comparison between the top flagships of 2017 in terms of their battery life.
Samsung worked hard to develop a Galaxy S9 with a gorgeous new design. In addition to that, GFXBench claims that the phone will be fueled by an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.1GHz, and this is quite probably the Exynos 7885 64-bit octa-core processor, as the ARM Mali-G71 GPU has also been mentioned by GFXBench. As we can see in the renders, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ phones have different configurations. We also got our hands on the Galaxy A8, so expect our comprehensive review of the device to be posted soon. The advance delivers “the highest performance and energy efficiency for an 8Gb DRAM chip, as well as the smallest dimensions”.
Today Samsung announced that it has begun mass producing the industry’s first 2nd-generation of 10-nanometer class, 8-gigabit DDR4 DRAM.
