Tips for holiday travel at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

AAA forecasts nearly 3.5 million people from Michigan will travel from Saturday through Jan. 1 – a 3.4 percent increase, or 114,000 more travelers than last year – the highest since AAA began tracking data in 2001.

The “Tipsy Tow” service through AAA will be available from 6 p.m. Christmas Eve to 6 a.m. Christmas Day and again from 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve to 6 a.m. New Year’s Day.

“Going to head down to Florida tomorrow morning”. Traveling on the holiday itself is also an effective strategy. Cars were randomly stopped and searched at the RFK Bridge heading into Manhattan.
