Harvey Weinstein Slapped At A Resort In Arizona
Video shows a man approaching Weinstein and oddly backhanding his face as he tells him, “Get the f-k out of here … you’re a piece of s-t”.
Steve told TMZ that Weinstein stumbled backward and nearly fell but the restaurant manager said the punches did not connect and that the man was drunk and disorderly.
TMZ reports that the man who’s seen slapping Weinstein in the video asked for a photo with a producer earlier in the night.
The restaurant manager said that, contrary to Steve’s account, Weinstein was not dismissive but “very sweet about it” when he declined to take a photo with him.
It is unclear if Weinstein filed a police report. Neither of them seem to particularly bother Weinstein, who – and this may shock you – is not looking his best right now.
Hollywood mogul Weinstein has made headlines in recent months following a series of rape and sexual assault allegations made by numerous women.
When Weinstein and the coach got up to leave, the other diner told his friend to start filming what was about to occur, TMZ reported. A video captured by TMZ appears to show a hero man shoving him.
The restaurant manager claims neither of the punches connected and Steve was “out of control” drunk. The resort itself discharged an announcement, “Our visitors’ protection is central at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa”.
Since his sexual abuse scandal broke in October, Weinstein was dropped by the studio he co-founded with his brother Bob.
Weinstein is under investigation by authorities in New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and London.
