CJI Dipak Misra Meets The Four Dissenting Judges To Resolve Issues
On January 12, the four judges called a press conference and claimed that cases were assigned on the basis of preference. Communist leader D Raja met with Justice Chelameswar while Congress raised grave concern and demanded an inquiry into justice Loya’s death.
Without disclosing what they were upset about, the four judges noted that “they have been compelled to do this”.

He said: “I am saying on behalf of millions and millions of people to empower the CJI. The judges will now have to act in statesmanship and ensure that the divisiveness is wholly neutralised and total harmony and mutual understanding will prevail in future”, he said. We must trust the judges. “Everything is under control”, Venugopal said.
Instead, the news agency reported, the five-judge bench, comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice AK Sikri, Justice AM Khanwilkar, Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Ashok Bhushan, will commence hearing on a range of crucial matters from 17 January. There was also no official word from the CJI office yet.
Supreme Court of India is the highest judicial forum and final court of appeal under the Indian constitution. “Family disputes are never taken to the streets”, he said. The letter which they had written to the CJI a few months ago did not invoke any response from him. While some judges were of the different opinion.
The Supreme Court asked the Maharshtra government to provide all documents pertaining to special CBI judge BH Loya’s mysterious death to the petitioners in the case after the state submitted important papers including a post mortem report and a 50-page intelligence report in a sealed cover on Tuesday.
