Arsene Wenger unsure on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emre Can denies Juventus agreement

Aubameyang has netted 13 times in 15 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund this time out. That’s 32 more than Sanchez managed during that span.

Aubameyang has developed into one of the top goal scorers in the world, but his stint with Dortmund has been marred by off-the-field issues and questions about his attitude. The Chilean’s imminent departure would leave Arsenal woefully short of goals, with Alexandre Lacazette the only regular capable of finding the back of the net on a consistent basis.

Aubameyang has now agreed personal terms with Arsenal, with the Dortmund talisman desperate to force through a move this month.

There have been reports that Manchester United will offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the deal. The Armenian worldwide may be involved in part-exchange in any deal which takes Sanchez to United.

There’s building bad feeling toward the player because of his disrespect towards Dortmund, and if he goes to Arsenal he won’t be waved off fondly.

If Mkhitaryan doesn’t make the switch to Arsenal, Wenger could turn to Bordeaux winger Malcom instead.

It looks like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Borussia Dortmund adventure is ending.

However, Arsenal fans have reason to be confident again this afternoon due to Aubameyang’s Twitter activity.

While the fee will remain fairly modest, at around £30million, it’s the players involved causing a stir. He has an excellent track record and was credited for the signings of Aubameyang, Robert Lewandowski, Shinji Kagawa, Mats Hummels and Ousmane Dembele, among others during his time at Signal Iduna Park.

So at this point, Aubameyang’s possible role at Arsenal likely depends on who arrives with him.
