Victims emotionally confront pedophile doctor Larry Nassar
A coach who sent more than 100 girls to be treated by gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar in the years before he was unmasked as a serial sex abuser demanded Wednesday that the convicted pedophile look his victims in the eyes.
“You convinced my parents that I was a liar”, Stephens said.
Nassar pleaded guilty to molesting females at his Michigan State University office, at his home and at a Lansing-area gymnastics club.
MSU previously declined to comment on Nassar’s case. “If it did, I have to say, I might allow what he did to all of these lovely souls – these young women in their childhood – I would allow someone or many people to do to him what he did to others”. “I’m shocked by you generosity and I want you to know how much hope your words bring to all of us!”
“I’ve come to realize this moment is not my weakest moment”, she continued.
Nassar preyed on the vulnerable and for many of his victims, the underage.
“I can’t even put on an MSU sweatshirt without thinking about Larry Nassar”, Hogan said. She was surprised that he used the same intravaginal technique, but she figured it was a standard medical treatment. “That’s all I got to say”.
How was Larry Nassar able to abuse young women for more than 20 years?
Biles, who won a record three successive world all around titles before winning four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, said the alleged incidents left her broken and the more she tried to “shut off the voice in my head the louder it screams”.
“I was the first to testify in this case, and anxious of the attention that could come of that, I asked for complete anonymity…”
In retrospect, the victims said, it was a master move of a manipulator – while the girls were often repelled by the intravaginal procedure, they assume their mothers saw what was happening. “The army you chose in the late 90s to silence me, to dismiss me and my attempts at speaking the truth will not prevail over the army you created when violating us”.
“I have been coming for you for a long time. There’s no therapy that will fix the evil that’s deep inside you”.
Teigen’s generous offer inspired other famous personalities to chip in so that Maroney’s fine can be covered.
Maroney is now suing USA Gymnastics, Michigan State University – where Nassar was also employed – and the United States Olympic Committee for allegedly forcing her to sign the confidentiality agreement.
Teigen, upon learning of the issue and Maroney’s predicament, took to twitter to provide assistance to the 22-year-old and all of Nassar’s victims by offering to pay for the $100 thousand fine.
Raisman, a Needham native and three-time gold-medal victor, was responding to a statement USA Gymnastics released Monday.
The team’s two-time captain Aly Raisman, who came forward in November, has accused USA Gymnastics of ignoring allegations of sexual abuse and encouraging gymnasts to remain quiet.
