Kim and Kanye’s daughter was welcomed into the world by a surrogate after Kim was warned it was too risky to go through with a natural pregnancy. And a number of Twitter users posted their support for the moniker.

Her mum, 37, wrote in a second tweet, “North, Saint & Chi”, and then retweeted a post revealing that Chi was pronounced “shy”.

Another person joked: “Congrats @KimKardashian and @officialKanye!” The couple has not shared their baby girl’s name yet or her first photo.

“Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to hire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye”, the source added.

Some of the more serious suggestions included Easton, Star, Icon and South.

The new baby will definitely be a big adjustment for the Wests, but Kim is keeping their routines the same and gives them each a lot of one on one time. Having a gestational carrier was so special for us and she made our dreams of expanding our family come true.
