‘This Is Us’ Season 2: How Does Jack Die? 4 Deadly Theories
Another fan named Ruthie pressed the brand for a response to the matter, noting that “so many people are anxious now”, and the brand replied, “We’re heartbroken over last night’s episode too!…” This particular resource being Beth and her years of experience in refurbishing buildings in under-served communities, because she would have told Randall to slow down before he let a bunch of cockroaches loose in the building. He fixes things too quickly, and he tries to do too much in too little time. Randall messes up, though, when he accidentally leaves a hole in a spot he was working an a roach infestation begins. How are you? Did you handle the latest episode of This Is Us well? No?
It’s entirely possible that Jack goes running back into the house to save Kate’s dog, which leads to his demise. In order for Jack to get to Kate’s room to help her, he may have lost his footing and fallen into the burning first floor. Kate visits the dog shelter after catching Toby looking/shopping for dogs. As we found out Tuesday night, dogs are a “sensitive subject” for Kate. It’s an emotional moment, even if she’s reluctant to take the (adorable) dog home with her.
This Is Us will air its special Super Bowl episode on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 10:15 p.m. ET/7:15 PT (tentative) on NBC. But remember, Kate once told Toby that it was her fault her dad died. Jack wanted to enjoy the 1998 Super Bowl with his family and their new entertainment system that he built, but all the kids had different ideas.
But things with Kevin were definitely not squared away, and sadly they never would be again. Apparently, he wrote her a letter apologizing, so she wrote him one back and attached Jack’s pendant that he left at her place. Kevin comforts Randall, telling him that he’ll live to be an old man, just like his “other dad”.
In the past, we seen teen Kevin and Jack arguing because Sophie has been accepted to NYU. And, of course, if you want to be really safe, don’t leave it on when you’re not home to keep an eye on it. If Beth and Randall want to be Jack and Rebecca 2.0, which they were already close to, even before this move into remodeling, then they have to work as a team.
Tuesday’s gut-wrenching episode revealed the unexpected cause of the fire that burned down the Pearson family home and presumably brought Jack to his demise: an ill-functioning Crock-Pot that was given as a present to a young Jack and Rebecca by an elderly neighbor named George. The ever-shifting timelines on This Is Us mean that Jack, like Schrodinger’s cat, is always both dead and alive, and so Ventimiglia remains employed. The second the show started getting successful in season one, I started pestering [NBC executives] Jen Salke and Bob Greenblatt a bit and saying, “I understand you guys are going to have the Super Bowl next year”.
On February 4, we’ll find out the final pieces of the puzzle. NBC told journalists ahead of this week’s episode that they would not be sending out advance screeners, which was a tip-off that something significant was about to happen regarding Jack’s still-mysterious death-and boy, did it.
