What seemed like a joke not long ago has turned into a freaky money-making scheme and proven that if Musk is involved with a product, people will buy it.
Earlier this week, a subredditor correctly guessed the password was “flame” and got access to the page, but the password appears to have since been changed.

The flamethrower is believed to be inspired from the movie Spaceballs.
With Elon Musk being Elon Musk, however, he could not resist mentioning the zombie apocalypse in his recent tweets, with the SpaceX and Tesla CEO pitching the device as a great way to handle the upcoming zombie outbreak.
What’s next for Boring Company, after the flamethrowers sell out? He didn’t mention any specific detail about the Freezegun though. Musk said on Sunday that 2,000 of the devices had already been ordered.
This may be one of the most ridiculous ways to raise money for a business that needs more cash but it is undoubtedly effective. According to The Boring Company, flamethrowers that can shoot a flame that is less than 10 feet long do not require a permit to sell.
The flamethrower is being shipped not just within the USA but outside as well! The device is meant for fun. Mostly they’re used to sterilize animal enclosures, thaw frozen pipes, clear patches of asphalt and kill weeds, although that latter seems a wee bit excessive.
Almost two months later, a seemingly playful joke turned oddly real with Musk noting that a flamethrower could come in handy.
