EDM Artists React To The 2018 Grammys
Sunday’s Bruno Mars-loving Grammy Awards took a steep ratings spill by the first-available metrics.
Many of those attending walked the red carpet with white roses to honour the victims of sexual abuse, a piggyback off the Time’s Up pin badges celebrities wore to the Golden Globe awards this month.
But for the awards, the feel-good Mars carried the night. She celebrated her epic Grammys duet with Bruno – who took home six awards – singing his hit, “24K Magic” and their new collaboration, “Finesse” on video [as seen below].
The 32-year-old singer, sporting a bright smile and sunglasses, recalled how he first performed as a child for tourists in his native Hawaii. You people are never satisfied.

It’s 2018. Hip hop is officially America’s most listened-to genre.
And while the show tried to jump on the #MeToo bandwagon, it was criticized for its lack of love for female artists.
The awards night was hosted by television’s James Corden and saw live performances from chart-topping artists such as Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Kesha, U2, Elton John, Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, and more.
The singer, who fought her label to stop working with a producer she says raped her, delivered her autobiographical song Praying with palpable ferocity.
“Thank you to the fans”. “I’ll bring thunder, I’ll bring rain / When I’m finished, they won’t even know your name”, she belted, verging on tears. To those who would dare try to silence us, we offer two words: “Time’s Up”, Monae said. And, that wasn’t the only highlight of her Grammys night. I got a lot of guys in this building right now that I still idolize to this day.
“The Grammy’s in the bag”, quips Clinton, whose confidence during her race against Trump proved ill-advised.
Childish Gambino crushed with his hit “Terrified”. But Lamar tipped his hat to the elder star, declaring “Jay for president!” as he collected the best rap album award. The young rapper was also awarded the best rap for his song “Humble”.
