Henrikh Mkhitaryan reveals key difference between Wenger and Mourinho
Aubameyang became Arsenal’s record signing when he joined in a £56 million deal from Borussia Dortmund last week and it hasn’t taken long for the Gabon global to draw comparisons to the Gunners’ all-time record scorer.
The 26-year old striker joined the Gunners from French giants Olympique Lyonnais last summer, but has failed to make the impact many expected of him, scoring just nine Premier League goals so far this season.
He will surely bring so much to Arsenal’s attacking play, what with his blistering pace, power and lethal finishing ability.
Aubameyang’s pace and movement tormented the Everton defence as he netted with a composed first-half finish, while Mkhitaryan’s range of passing provided three assists as he linked up with fellow playmaker Mesut Ozil to devastating effect. I met him a few times before by coincidence and he looks highly focused on his job.
“Of course sometimes you need some refreshing”, Mkhitaryan told ESPN Brasil.
“But we don’t care if Arsenal are behind us, or where they are”. He is a goalscorer, he scored goals in his whole career. “That is one of his challenges, I think, by joining us”. “The Aubameyang signing says to me, ‘this is a top-four signing then see you later'”.
Aubameyang scored 13 goals in 16 Bundesliga games for Dortmund this season but left with the club in fourth and manager Peter Bosz sacked in December following 12 games without a win in all competitions. That’s why we took our time and worked very hard so my muscles are ready for this type of game and to play a lot of games again. Spurs, unbeaten at their temporary home in the league since a 2-1 reverse to Chelsea in August, have more reason to fear Arsenal and their new record signing than any other team in the division.
Arsenal’s new ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been staying back after training to work with Arsenal’s strikers.
The excellent Mousa Dembele echoed his words, saying: “To be honest, I’m not busy with this question, ‘Who is the best club in north London?'”.
