To be on the podium with a friend and teammate? “You don’t realize the amount of every single thing she’s done every day for the last eight years has been for this day and that 2 minutes”, said Vonn’s sister, Karin Kildow. “I think she had potential to do a lot more at these Games, but at the same time – same like me, you can’t expect everything all the time”.
