Threat Of Severe Weather Continues This Summer
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Central and Northern New Hampshire until 9 p.m. Monday.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for SANILAC and TUSCOLA COUNTIES until 3:45 PM.Storms moving east at 55 miles per hour.
ComEd reported that 38,000 customers were affected from outages after the storm rolled through. The high will be 87 with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day. “The Storm Prediction Center states 80 miles per hour wind gusts, up to 2.5” size hail, and isolated tornadoes are all possible.
Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division asked everyone to prepare just incase if a severe weather out break does occur. Several clusters of serious to severe thunderstorms are possible well into the evening, the weather agency said.
These storms will be capable of producing damaging winds, hail and flooding downpours.
