How to save tweets you may want to revisit — Twitter Bookmarks

Twitter said it started working on the new bookmarks tool past year. On iOS, at least, we have seen the redesigned Share tab in testing for the past couple of weeks, with the official rollout taking place on all mobile platforms this week.

The new Bookmark feature is located under the old DM sharing button.

Bookmarks will be private, and no one will know what you saved to read later. That means users can bookmark the updates, share via Twitter’s direct message feature, or share through another app. For more information, you can check out the following screenshot given below. Also people like a lot of posts, and there is only a handful out of them that you actually want to go back to. The tweets you’ve bookmarked can be found in the Bookmarks section under your profile icon. Since its launch, tweets were restricted to 140 characters, and even now, Twitter restricts them to 280 characters. The last option is cancel to cancel the process right away. This, according to the company, allows users to save Tweets privately and revisit them whenever they want to.

To remove a saved bookmark, tap the share icon from the tweet within your bookmark timeline and select Remove tweet from bookmarks.

You can access your bookmarks via the main slide-out menu on mobile.

Called Bookmarks, naturally, the feature is now live. The bookmarked tweets will be placed reversely.

From now on, all tweets will have an updated “share” icon. It’s all located under one icon, and it’s a pretty great feature. The feature had started being tested in November a year ago.
