PlayStation Now Storms Onto the Vita & PlayStation TV
Today, Sony announced a line-up of new titles coming to the PlayStation Now game-streaming service.
Sony’s PlayStation Now game-streaming service is officially available for the PS TV micro-console and PS Vita handheld console, following an open beta that first launched in October. It provides access to more than 125 games for the PS TV and PS Vita and is essentially a major push by the gaming division of the Japanese firm. An entire list of supported devices can be seen here, which include PS4, PS3, PS Vita, PS TV, Sony TVs and Blu-ray players, and Samsung Smart TVs. Also, take a look at a new video below showing off the latest games added to the service as well.
The service has also been criticised for offering nothing for PS3 gamers seeking to keep their library alive without having the older console set up alongside the next-gen model. It offers both ala carte rentals and an all-you-can-eat subscription package.
Players who have not had a free 7 day trial of PlayStation Now can begin one right here.
Sony hasn’t said what the gift will be, but if you’ve been with the service since the start, keep an eye on the email associated with your Sony sign in.
