NBA Star Accidentally Leaks Call of Duty: Black Ops IV’s Logo
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s logo appears to have been revealed by National Basketball Association star James Harden. Before a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets superstar James Harden dressed up in full camo along with a hat that looks suspiciously like the logo for Black Ops III.
What’s interesting (and odd) here is that it seems Treyarch is styling the “4” as “IIII” instead of the correct roman numeral writing of “IV”.
Treyarch have made surprise announcements in this way before, and it’s often the case that previous Call of Duty games are used to advertise upcoming ones, so this is definitely something to keep an eye on. Some folks are hoping to find some sort of hint to Black Ops 4 in this update.
And since Modern Warfare 3, there has been a set rhythm to how the development process of the games works.
Leaks surrounding Call of Duty 2018 have been everywhere.
KitGuru Says: Given that Treyarch is at the helm this year, Black Ops 4 makes ideal sense. Harden wearing the hat just gives more inclination that the game will be officially announced soon and arrive this year.
It is not uncommon for Activision to get celebrities involved in Call of Duty marketing, or even playing parts in the game’s campaign mode. So, I guess this is Call of Duty Black Ops IV.
If speculation is to be believed, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 will likely release this fall on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Well, the only confirmation we need now is from Activision. There is also an arrival date of 05/01/2018 for the product but no word if that is also the release date for the game.
Yes, you read that correctly. The map is a wintry version of the map, called “Redwood Snow”.
This suggests that some of the more futuristic elements that have become a hallmark of recent Black Ops games will be dialled back a bit in favour of more traditional weapons.
