The remaining power conferences hold tournaments this week.

The NCAA is adding a new feature to its March Madness app that should make the first two days of the tournament a bit less stressful for fans obsessed with keeping up with their bracket.

In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Emmert said he expects the NCAA will receive recommendations in April from the commission led by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice seeking ways to reform and modernize rules in college basketball.

We have more ACC Quarterfinals tonight. If you have the victor and two or three of the Final Four teams, you might cash. The Jayhawks face the Oklahoma-Oklahoma State victor in Thursday’s quarterfinals. Because if your beloved Wildcats/Tigers/Salukis are like the “Miracle on Ice” U.S. hockey team and pull off two stunners and you didn’t pick them, you will feel like a chump. This won’t be an easy feat, as Texas Tech enters the game ranked No. 14 in the country.

As the No. 6 seed, they have a quarterfinal matchup against the No. 3 seed, which means West Virginia in this case.

What CBS and Turner are counting on is that the mystery of where teams are seeded and who they will face will be enough to keep viewers interested beyond the first 15 minutes of the show.

Tulsa likely has to win the AAC Tournament to get into the tourney field, but the Hurricane have played Cincinnati and Wichita State in close games this year, despite losing. The victor of this contest will take on Kansas State in the semifinals.

There would be more chances for upsets by mid-majors if the regular-season champion and conference tournament champion both went.

Alabama (10 seed)- The Tide enter the SEC Tournament with a rematch with Texas A&M on their plate. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge of NCAA Division I men’s basketball to fill out a bracket, and that’s what makes the tournament so enjoyable.

Not to be forgotten is Florida, the tournament’s No. 3 seed. As such, they aren’t going the way of the dinosaur anytime soon.

The league has a history of superstars coming right out of high school, including LeBron James and Kobe Bryant; however, they are few and far between.

People treat these self-described bracket gurus as the gospel, and there is constant discussion of what team X, who is listed in the “first four out” category, needs to do in order to make the tournament.
