Here’s Nottingham’s weather forecast until the Easter weekend

Don’t expect much of a warm up with highs mainly in the 40s. Tuesday night, there is a 70 percent chance of showers amid a low around 44 degrees.

According to the Met office, the outlook for Wednesday to Friday across Lancashire is for colder temperatures to settle in and stay with through to the weekend. There is a 40 percent chance of showers Wednesday night with a low around 48. Showers could begin over West Alabama during the afternoon and evening; however, the heaviest rain and storms will be moving in on Thursday. As this front slowly moves through, chances for some isolated severe storms will be likely, but the Flash Flooding Risk increases quickly.

Following the two recent spells of extreme cold weather there has been speculation that a cold and snowy Easter is on its way.

Though little to no ice accumulation is expected, Schultz said travelers are still being advised to drive with caution. It’s going to feel nice and comfy, with a mostly sunny sky. After lunch we should all run near 50° behind a light south wind at 5-10mph.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy windy warm and humid with a low of 71. Expect some gusty winds too – southeast breezes could gust over 25 miles per hour at times.
