Followed by the same, there have been constant reports on what has been happening inside and outside the jail premises that has held Salman as a prisoner.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri convicted Salman under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.
The public prosecutor said that they asked for the maximum punishment (of six years). It is alleged that Khan and four other actors in the auto with him fled the scene when they were spotted. He argued that no investigation in any of the cases of poaching proved that Salman used firearms.
The actor contends he did not shoot the two blackbuck deer in the western India preserve in 1998 and was acquitted in related cases.
The judge will deliver the verdict only if he’s convinced from both the sides about the case, and he has all the rights to deliver the verdict on Monday and beyond too.
In the fourth case, he has been pronounced guilty. Khan was accused of killing two blackbucks in October 1998 during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain.
