Lindsey Graham Brings Up Monica Lewinsky Scandal To Attack Hillary Clinton
When Trump announced his candidacy for president two months ago, he took the political scene by storm. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., speaks during the Atlantic Council’s series “America’s Role in the World” at the Atlantic Council’s offices in Washington.
Fourteen of the 17 Republican presidential candidates will participate in a forum Monday night in New Hampshire, offering up a preview of Thursday’s much-anticipated debate.
“I find it relaxing, entertaining and informative, watching HGTV”, Clinton said.
Graham also attacked Clinton for not taking a clear stance on the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline and noted that his experience working with both Clintons should be a consideration in choosing a GOP nominee. “When she says, ‘I’ll tell you about building the pipeline when I get to be president, ‘ she won’t!” Graham then equated Bill Clinton’s Monica Lewinsky scandal to Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
Graham is a longshot to make the Republican presidential debate stage, so he was out to make waves at this rapid-fire event in Manchester, New Hampshire.
One of Graham’s first notable moments as a member of Congress occurred during the Clinton impeachment proceedings in 1998. “What are the consequences of this case?”
A recent Quinnipiac poll shows a growing number of people see Clinton as untrustworthy.
