National Night Out event set for Tuesday
National Night Out corporate sponsors are ADT, Nextdoor.com, Associa and Funflicks.
Neighborhood watch organizations will throw block parties, barbecues and other festivities across town. Adults will be able to enjoy music, gather crime and drug prevention materials, and attend a Neighborhood Watch meeting at 5:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. inside city hall.

A Crime Prevention and Community Resource Fair will be held at the Robert Eggers Sr. National Night Out helps strengthen it. They endured tensions after the city administration hired an outside attorney to investigate how police handled an incident involving an off-duty detective.

Carroll Township Police are asking residents to bring a non-perishable food item along for New Hope Ministries, which will be collected for their Food Bank.
