National Hockey League warns Bruins’ Brad Marchand to stop licking opponents

One would suspect that the officiating in this series will not hold up well under review. That trend continued as the refs had terrible calls for both teams. But, it was the Bruins who capitalized. Marchand hit him in the second period of Game 4, and Callahan skated over after the play. “I think if my lead foot’s planted there, I’m not finishing the game”.
The B’s didn’t score on the powerplay, and focused on closing out the game.
Tampa Bay’s Alex Killorn, who had the primary assist on Dan Girardi’s overtime goal that pushed the Bruins to the brink of elimination in Game 4, said there’s a sense of urgency to end the series and avoid a return trip to Boston.
The refs had another bad call in this period, again on the Bruins. Marchand assisted on an early Boston goal and did the same on a third-period score.
Backes, who has suffered two concussions previously in his National Hockey League career, remained down for several moments and required assistance from the Bruins’ medical staff and teammates to get back to the Boston locker room.
