Iran condemns Israeli regime for assisting terrorists in Syria
An Iranian state television presenter described the Israeli attack as “unprecedented” since the 1967 West Asian war.
“Israeli reckless action in this instance only helped [ISIS] and other terrorist groups in Syria”.
The Iranian axis in Syria, with the help of Russian airpower, has almost completed its victory over the Sunni rebel organizations and could now turn its attention to stage two of its Syrian project: Israel.
It reiterated that Iran was preparing to resume “industrial-scale” uranium enrichment “without any restrictions” unless Europe provided solid guarantees that it could maintain trade ties despite renewed USA sanctions.
“Contrary to their made-up claim”, Khoshroo said, the drone “was neither armed nor had intention for engagement or mission for possible attack anywhere”.
Israel’s raids in Syria, which a monitor said killed 23 fighters, were among its largest military operations in recent years and the biggest such assault on Iranian targets, the Israeli military said.
The White House on May 10 repeated its demand that Iran stop its “reckless actions” against US allies Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif described his government’s reaction to President Trump’s decision on Tuesday to re-impose USA sanctions on foreign companies that do business with Iran, in a statement posted to Twitter on Friday.
At the same time, the government said it has tasked the president of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran with “taking all necessary steps in preparation for Iran to pursue industrial-scale enrichment without any restrictions”.
“At least 27 pro-regime fighters were killed” in Thursday’s strikes, said Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. But analysts based in Tehran deny Iran is seeking direct conflict with Israel. Russian Federation has consistently demonstrated its willingness to tolerate attacks by Israel against shipments of weapons and weapons depots that are either supporting the Iranians or Hezbollah. Despite the blow absorbed, the Iranians will likely make a new attempt to move into Syria, smuggling new kinds of weapons, and preparing the ground for future attacks on Israel.
The Russians have been under considerable pressure from Israel to control the Iranians or push them out.
“Since the signing of the JCPOA (nuclear deal), we have gone from an atmosphere like a gold rush, to one of utter depression”, said a Western trade diplomat on condition of anonymity.
