Salah heads to Spain to undergo treatment
An Egyptian lawyer has launched a €1 billion (£873m/$1.2bn) lawsuit against Sergio Ramos after Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah was injured in a challenge with the Real Madrid captain during Saturday’s Champions League final. Speaking on ESPN in the aftermath, former Premier League goalkeeper, Shaka Hislop simply put it down to inexperience and being overeager in implementing Liverpool’s tactics.
Rohit posted a message in support of the distraught footballer with a video that showed Karius walking up to the stand occupied by Liverpool fans and seeking their forgiveness. But of course, it’s there again now.
A statement released on Monday, May 28, by Merseyside Police reads: “We can confirm officers are aware of a number of comments/threats made towards football players via social media. I think that will not only be the right ideal for Liverpool, it has always been their history and will always be their future”.
“I would love him to have a good recovery and enjoy the World Cup”.
“I feel for him”, added Shilton.
‘I have confidence. We have learned a lot this season, we learned a lot the season before so hopefully we can achieve great things’. But what was going through his mind at the time?
Both Salah and Karius both were reduced to tears in the Champions League for very different reasons individually.
“That affected him for the second one”. Instead of patting the ball down or diving on it, because there was 15 to 20 yards from the opposition player, he just did nothing.
But the Reds have now been linked with a move for Roma shot-stopper Alisson to bolster the back-line as Liverpool look to push for a first trophy under Jurgen Klopp next season. “We all gave him a hug and tried to lift him”.
The Egyptian federation said Salah began his rehabilitation programme on Sunday, and was in “high spirits” and “determined to return quickly to the ranks of the team”.
“As a goalkeeper you can’t hide”.
Indeed, the final in the Olimpiyskiy Stadium will be remembered as much for Karius’ awful mistakes as the spectacular bicycle kick from Gareth Bale which put the Spaniards 2-1 ahead.
Then you get the quick response and Karius is relieved.
