Red Dead Redemption 2 Digital Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed For Xbox One
We’re only a few months away from Red Dead Redemption 2’s release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Special Edition bonuses sound very cool.
Blackrose Bounty Hunter Outfit: This extravagant get-up includes an oxblood-colored long coat, dark trousers, chocolate leather boots, and a vest with a gold chain leading to a pocket watch. The Copperhead Enforcer Outfit features a fur-lined saddle-brown leather waistcoat, two-tone gloves, and pinstripe black trousers tucked into black leather boots. This horse and saddle are available online.
Highly anticipated: Microsoft “accidentally” leaked the bonuses to be handed out with pre-orders of the Xbox One version of Red Dead Redemption 2. The listing was quickly taken down, but ResetEra user Simo captured an image of the fleeting preorder listing.
Rockstar has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be getting three special edition releases, including a massive Collector’s Box that doesn’t include the game (obviously) but does give you a really cool-looking six shooter bandana.
“Red Dead Redemption 2” preorder bonuses have been leaked online.
In an interview, the co-studio head of Rockstar North, Rob Nelson said the studio is giving players choices and that’s going to have a huge impact on the game’s story. Thirdly, the War Horse from the previous game is making a comeback. The other piece of bonus content is the Outlaw Survival Kit which comes with items that refill various stat meters. There might be a bonus weapon included, and maybe even some in-game consumables. Rockstar is offering a Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box in their online store. This is only usable for the online mode, however. Oh, and it’ll also include a 150-page reproduction of the in-game merchant’s supply catalog in addition to a dozen collectable trading cards found in the game. People who pre-order before July 31, 2018 will also get a Story Mode exclusive Treasure Map.
The last thing is the most straight-forward.
All digital pre-orders from PSN or the Xbox Store will receive an immediate infusion of GTA money to their Maze Bank accounts in GTA Online.
Like with any rumor, this information could be false. As of press time, the listing is no longer available on Microsoft’s store. The Special Edition can be preordered for .99. Gamers who pre-order RDR2 will also get a cash bonus of GTA $500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online which they can spend immediately after the transaction. Were you planning on pre-ordering anyway? Let us know in the comments.
