Watch Square Enix’s E3 2018 Showcase
After an exciting day full of announcements from Microsoft and Bethesda on Sunday, Square Enix is kicking things off on Monday with its first E3 press conference since 2015.
In your quest, you’ll enlist the help of characters from the Final Fantasy game series, as well as Disney characters past and present. Lara Croft is trapped in an airplane that’s about to crash. This includes the new raid, Ridorana Lighthouse.
Capcom is collaborating with Square Enix to introduce Final Fantasy XIV Online x Monster Hunter World, presumably a new online RPG event coming to platforms this Summer. It looks quite charming and heartfelt and best of all, it’s free on June 26 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s been revealed that while this is not Life is odd 2, it is a fan’s first look into that universe. We also saw our longest look at gameplay yet in a demo featuring the developers talking us through the process in creating Lara this time around.
It will also have a crossover with Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
What we can tell you is that the game is now only bein advertised for release on PlayStation 4 and Steam.
Kingdom Hearts III will release on January 29, 2019. Eventually debuting in the Xbox Briefing last night.
Just Cause 4 had another trailer shown, this time with more depth. In any case, we’ll bring you more information on this game as it becomes available. “The introduction of Extreme Weather is a complete game changer – players will not have seen anything like this in a video game”. Vehicles have been overhauled as well as the series’ signature grappling hook allowing for more ways to play.
Enemy AI is more intelligent than previous titles.
The game uses the new Apex engine, which provides an “unparalleled draw distance” for an open world.
The Quiet Man’s trailer shows what appears to be a deaf dude beating the hell out of some gang members? The trailer says that more is to come in August. In the end, even the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer with the Twilight Town gang did not save the presentation.
It’s possible more Just Cause 4 will be shown at Sony’s E3 2018 press conference later tonight, so fans should stay tuned.
Then again, we still have months to go before Kingdom Hearts III is released to the public.
The visual style struck me as if I was looking at Gareth Evans film The Raid in video game form. We get more information on Shadow of the Tomb Raider. There wasn’t anything else shown about the game to make it at all interesting. Especially since there was news of upcoming projects like Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
