Harry and Meghan’s first overseas tour revealed
Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex, had another royal first this weekend when she joined her extended family for the Trooping of the Colour procession. Prince Harry’s parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, also toured Australia and New Zealand for the first overseas trip after their wedding. According to the Mirror, who spoke with a “lip reader”, Harry was checking if Meghan was okay throughout the day after she admitted she was “nervous”. Case in point: The off-the-shoulder dress she wore the Queen’s 92nd birthday parade aka the annual Trooping the Colour tradition.
But if Meghan would have had any jitters about what she should wear for these momentous occasions in her short royal life, Prince Harry has ensured the task did not turn too daunting.
The new Duchess of Sussex brought her trademark smile for her father-in-law’s birthday celebrations.

In her wedding veil, Meghan also gave a nod the Commonwealth with all 53 nations from the global network featuring in the embroidery.
Savannah Phillips made her appearance known when she was on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
In the 18th century, guards from the royal palaces assembled daily on Horse Guards to “troop the colours”, and in 1748 it was announced that the parade would also mark the Sovereign’s official birthday.

Meghan Markle has only been an official member of the royal family for a matter of weeks, and – if she thought she was already receiving enough negative criticism for literally just existing – she’s probably been quite surprised at the amount of backlash she’s gotten as a Duchess.
On Thursday, the former actress will hone her new royal skills with her first solo public outing with the monarch.
