Trump Calls European Union a ‘Foe’ of the United States

Hours before the Justice Department announcement, Trump complained anew that the special counsel’s investigation is complicating his efforts to forge a better working relationship with Russian Federation.

“The object of the conspiracy was to hack into the computers of USA persons and entities involved in the 2016 US presidential election, steal documents from those computers, and stage releases of the stolen documents to interfere with the 2016 US presidential election”, the indictment said.

Friday’s indictment was secured by Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of his probe into Russian involvement in the election.

It said the officers then “released that information on the internet under the names DCLeaks and Guccifer 2.0”.

Trump has not condemned Putin since the indictments, instead tweeting on Saturday to blame former President Barack Obama’s administration for failing to respond in late 2016.

The White House is telling reporters to stop calling it a summit.

Continetti also said that the United States may be able to reach a deal with Russian Federation if the goal isn’t too high.

Graham suggested that Trump “reject [any] denial” of election meddling from Putin and tell him that if he “desires a good relationship, you’ve got to stop meddling in our elections”.

The indictments were announced Friday by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as part of the ongoing special counsel probe into potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation.

She added, however, that the efforts are not “necessarily focused on specific politicians or political campaigns”.

A joint statement from October 2016 by the Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence accused the Russian government of being behind the attacks and subsequent leaks. The candidate and their party affiliation were not identified.
