Amazon Prime Day 2018: The best deals to shop right now

The savings event this year is running longer than prior years, available for shoppers in more countries, and Amazon is promising a million deals – the most yet – for Prime members.

When Prime Day kicked off at 3 p.m., excited customers were greeted by a stuck home page screen or pictures of a dog, instead of the Prime Day sale.

The eBay deals page, meanwhile, contains a lot more products, across a variety of categories, complete with prices and full information.

The online retailer has also reduced many of its popular devices including price cuts to the Echo smart speaker, Echo Dot, Echo Show and Fire TV Stick. However it also noted that many people were nabbing Prime Day deals successfully. The price went up from $100 to $119 on May 11 for new members and on June 16 for those with existing memberships. Last year’s Prime Day saw the best price of the year on the fitness trackers and Deal News expects similar discounts this year. These products may see discounts in the 30 to 50 percent range.
