But Game Director Brian Horton is not anxious.
He states, “We’re big fans of Fallout, it’s such a great game”. According to him, the game can hold on its own and can even compete with the popular post-apocalyptic game.
The reason he’s not afraid is because he feels his game offers a different gaming experience. He also said he “feels good about that date”.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider is promising a seamless experience, without a single loading screen.
“We want to immerse the player into the world as soon as possible and flow from mission to mission in a very seamless way”, Horton furthered in the interview. 2013’s Tomb Raider, focused more in creating a strong origin story for Lara Croft, and helping players of a new generation identify with the heroine in a more subtle way, by introducing the tomb element in a more linear but still effective and appealing form. However, for Rise of the Tomb Raider, they’ve just brought this passion and belief that has really enabled us to blow people away. Lara can now climb trees, swim down rivers and underwater, and use her new abilities to “subtly approach an enemy and take them out from above or from below”.
The “Rise of the Tomb Raider” will see the main character in the ancient city of Kitze in Siberia to solve mysteries and find the answer to gaining immortal life, noted Cinema Blend. Crystal Dynamics is not afraid of taking on the challenge.
The game will be released on November 10 first to the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The PC version of the game is due out early 2016, while for the PlayStation 4, it will be sometime Holiday 2016. No exact date has been announced for this yet.
