Watch the NEW Venom 2018 movie trailer now!
After hearing about the exclusive Venom footage Sony showed off at Comic-Con this year, symbiote fans were pumped for the studio to release something more to the general public.
Few comic-book villains share a connection with their superhero protagonists quite like Venom does with Spider-Man.
Chances are Carnage has been earmarked for a cameo (played by Woody Harrelson, perhaps?), while this morning’s CG-laden trailer revealed Riot to be a monstrous version of Carlton Drake, the man hellbent on creating the ideal fusion between man and symbiote. Watch the new trailer now below and let us know what you think in the comments section! But in the earlier clips, Venom was still a suggestion; appearing only briefly at the end of the first full trailer. The trailer features lots of snarling Venom and Tom Hardy Doing Voices, a good amount of Ahmed’s Drake and his toxic ambition, and not almost enough of Michelle Williams as Anne.
Now, we actually see its head come out of Eddie’s body, even telling him “look into my eyes, Eddie”. But thanks to a new trailer out Tuesday, the mixed reactions might swing more in one direction. The trailer also shows a glimpse of the villain in the movie who plays Dr Carlton Drake the scientist.
One thing is for sure: “The world has enough superheroes” is unquestionably a far better and less cringey tagline than “embrace your inner anti-hero”. Did you see that symbiote going for that dude’s crotch? During the fight in his apartment, Eddie even tells a goon he’s sorry while Venom tenderizes him. But hey, there’s a new trailer. The towering Venom pontificating about wanting to snack on his human victims is basically all anyone’s ever wanted from the film. The trailer also makes Venom’s fondness of eating people clear, which is a somewhat disturbing aspect of an already creepy character. After supposedly eating the assailant, he looks at the terrified store owner and nonchalantly says: “I have a parasite”.
Brock happens to be a journalist who stumbles upon an experiment that involves some sort of alien species.
