Paul Pogba posts cryptic message on Instagram after Manchester United win
Paul Pogba has set Manchester United fans thinking after a cryptic tweet today.
“There are things, and there are things that I can not say, otherwise I will get fined”, Pogba said.
“Leicester were strong in periods but we coped with that as a team”.
It was not flawless by any means, but who cares? Maddison made his presence on the pitch known from the start of the game, especially after firing a shot at the Manchester keeper that forced De Gea into making a stunning save.Following the break, it was clear Mourinho was unhappy with just a one-goal lead.
Alas for Claude Puel’s men, they wouldn’t nab an equaliser, with United getting their campaign underway with all three points.
Jose Mourinho handed Paul Pogba the captain’s armband for Leicester clash.
Luke Shaw sealed the points seven minutes from time before Jamie Vardy headed home a consolation for the visitors.
I don’t want to speak too soon after one game, but I want to be up there with the best left-backs in the world.
“We allowed them to remain deep and close the space”.
‘We have big coaching staffs and I think we are more the head coach than the manager.
“Pogba was a monster”, said Mourinho.
“It was very exciting to watch for the first 20 or 25 minutes but, when they took their foot off the gas, Leicester came right back into the game”.
The reason behind this is none other than Pogba himself.
“I want to see the spark in his eyes again”, Redknapp told the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast.
“If he can do that and create that spirit in that Manchester United dressing room, that’s what they need”.
The manager, however, celebrated on the touchline after Luke Shaw directed home his first senior goal to put the result out of reach after an excellent through ball from Juan Mata. I was meant to come inside and I managed to get in front of him [his marker] and put it in.
Lindelof and Bailly – together at the back?
“I think football is changing and probably football managers should be called head coaches”.
Just look at his reaction!
“Mr. [Richard] Scudamore [the Premier League’s executive chairman] must be happy”, he said.
All does not appear well behind the scenes, despite Mourinho saying on the eve of the Leicester match that when the media “repeat 1,000 times that my relationship with my players is not good, it’s a lie that (is) repeated 1,000 times”.
“[Paul] was very good”.
