Nokia 9 showed the first “live” photo
Needless to say that a penta-lens camera smartphone seems just as unbelievable. Reportedly, the roles of these five lenses would be telephoto, black white, color and multi-lens pixel synthesis. But before the Nokia 9, looks like the company is all set to unveil a new smartphone in Taiwan. It might use that brand as well.
Moving on to the leaked live image, it reveals the back panel of the upcoming smartphone. Nokia 9 has got a glimpse of the unique camera setup. The leaked render shows that the front of the Nokia 9 sports thin-bezels and a notch on top just like Nokia 6.1 Plus. But one thing is for certain – this will be the brand’s flagship handset.
From the photo, the camera seems to sit flush on the back of the phone, with no bulges in sight.
The concept was spotted earlier in design sketches. But since the original source has deleted the image, we can think that the leaked image and speculations might resemble the real design. Such evidence adds support to the latest leak.
The cameras were made by the German lens manufacturer Zeiss. More specially there are seven circular holes on the back, five of which feature a camera within, along with the Zeiss logo featuring. Nokia 9 will be known as Nokia A1 Plus. Let us know on Twitter and Facebook.
Although the new image gives us a better look at the phone, it does come with a bit of suspicion. Since it is the company’s rumoured flagship, one can also expect it to feature a face recognition system and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. So, whenever Nokia rolls out the Android Pie update for Nokia 6.1 Plus, chances are it will bring back the option to hide the notch on the smartphone.
Available in three colours – Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver, Grey/Silver, the Nokia 2.1 is available from 06 September 2018 and will be priced at a launch offer of R1 699 for the month of September.
It also has an URL link, which takes us to ze.media, which we believe will broadcast the launch event. Coming to the Nokia 9, there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear.
