Three New iPhone Models Leak Ahead of Apple’s Event
“Apple’s annual launch event is nearly upon us and there are quite a few things to get excited fabout”.
Apple also is expected to release an iPhone with minor updates to last year’s $1,000 model and another version made of cheaper materials, including a 6.1-inch LCD screen.
And they suggest an Apple Watch Series 4 with a display 2 mm larger than current models. The large text on the top says, “New Apple with dual SIM?” and the smaller text around the apple lists benefits of having two SIM cards like network use and data.
“Apple has never competed on price”, said Josh Blechman, director of capital markets at Exponential ETFs, which holds Apple shares in its exchange traded fund. Apple’s offerings may also impact Huawei’s P20 Pro.
iPhone 6 shipped 30 million more units than iPhone X during its first 10 months of sales, so it missed the “Volume Super Cycle” but drove the Cupertino-headquartered giant’s “Revenue Super Cycle”. Others have been nicknaming it the iPhone XC – after the iPhone 5c, Apple’s last lower-priced experiment.
However, as usual, the thrust of the event will focus on the new iPhone range. Android smartphones have come to dominate the market.
We’re expecting more of an iterative update than a revolutionary design change.
The company is in the unique situation of controlling the hardware and software in its mobile devices, with content for users required to go through its App Store that takes a percentage of revenue.
Apart from streaming on iOS devices, Mac, Windows and other platforms, Apple is providing a livestream of the event on Twitter as well. Several bands also showed up in the links, including Indigo Craie Orange Double Tour Band, Pure Platinum Black Sport Band, Summit White Sport Loop, Anthracite Black Sport Band, Black Sport Loop, Seashell Sport Loop, and Pink Sand Sport Band. Rumors also indicate the new version might include always-on “Hey Siri” instead of having to tap. Analysts expect the company will take cues from the iPhone X and ditch the iPad’s home button.
