Apple expected to unveil new iPhones at 12 September event
On Thursday, Apple sent journalists invitations to their September 12 announcement event. It tells attendees to “gather round” and lists the date for the event – and that’s about it. Hopefully the company’s CEO Tim Cook will be able to capture the event from the 2018 iPhone model at this event. As per the analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple could price its 6.1-inch LCD iPhone between $600 (around Rs 42,000) to $700 (roughly Rs 49,000 approx). Apple is according to the report indeed naming the follow-up to the iPhone X, iPhone XS.
Apple has announced a special event, which will be held on 12 September, at the Steve Jobs Theatre in the firm’s Cupertino HQ.
Apple is always anxious about its suppliers leaking images and parts for its upcoming products, but in recent years, numerous most critical leaks have come from within.
Perhaps under a different suffix than “XS” will be the middle sized, but cheapest, new 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.
All the 2018-series iPhones are coming with new generation 7nm Apple 12 processor and improved True Depth front-camera with FaceID capability.
Mark September 12 on your calendars: that’s when the new iPhones will be launched.
In step with the leaked data, Apple is planning to call both the 5.eight and 6.5-shuffle OLED iPhones the “iPhone XS”, which is an distinctive replacement.
Unfortunately, none of the new iPhone lineup will feature wholly new designs like last year’s iPhone X because of Apple’s “S year”. Apple could reveal a new Apple Watch with a larger screen and possibly a better battery life. The company could also reveal other products such as an updated iPad Pro and the next version of its AirPods. While this is unlikely, the images 9to5Mac have leaked do not show the final product name and so we can’t say for sure that the name is incorrect. The new software also makes navigation slightly easier for models without a Home button compared to iOS 11, perhaps reducing the learning barrier for some users.
