Apple Launches iPhone Xs and Xs Max; Read All The Specifications here

Apple stated that the iPhone XS will give you 30 minutes longer in your day than iPhone X thanks to an improved battery.

IPhone Xs is the successor of iPhone X that was launched past year. This model will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB options starting at $749 Dollars.

The XR is Apple’s cheapest new handset, retailing at £749.

Apple kicked off its annual fall iPhone event with the new Apple Watch Series 4. The big display is expected to use lower-cost LCD technology but looks more like last year’s iPhone X than the iPhone 8, which itself looked similar to phones going back to 2014’s iPhone 6.

You can start pre-ordering the new iPhone Xs and Xs Max on September 14, this Friday.

Buyers can select from three different aluminum colors – gold, space gray, and silver.

Clearly the most noticeable aspect of the XR is the fact that this is Apple’s most colourful iPhone since the 5C. Wider stereo playback creates a more immersive soundstage. After all, it was Apple’s decision to make the change, so it makes sense that the company would provide the necessary equipment so that customers could continue to use their old headphones.

Apple is sticking with 64GB as the base storage, but the highest capacity is now 512GB to answer the challenge from Android flagships.

The two iPhone Xs models are playing it safe when it comes to color options.

Apple’s new iPhones pack all sorts of nifty new features. The A12 Bionic’s AI block claims 5 tera-ops per second versus the 600 giga-ops delivered by the one in the A11.

This enables new capabilities like faster plane detection for ARKit and new features that use real-time machine learning. It features a 6-core design (2 big + 4 small), plus a 4-core GPU and a new 8-core neural engine, which add up to a whopping 6.9 billion transistors.

What’s new with the camera? Each phone gets two 12-megapixel cameras, one a wide-angle and the other a telephoto lens, with a variety of modes and effects. If it’s the sheer size that has kept you away from joining the “Plus club”, you will find that the iPhone XR to be less intimidating.

In case you were also wondering, each of the new phones, despite otherwise edge-to-edge displays, has a “notch” at the top of their screens that masksthe front camera and sensors.

Apple has also beefed up the water proofing for the XS Max. For videos, you get stereo sound recording, which is great.

Like their predecessor, the iPhone X, the name is meant to be pronounced as the number 10.
