So, as much as I love the current iPhone X-style designs, I do believe Apple got it right with the iPhone SE, and hope to see 4-inch iPhones eventually make a return. At 5.8 inches, it is the same size but comes with a dual sim, better battery life, a faster processor and an upgraded camera. This factor combined with the slightly larger battery in the XS Max is also likely the cause of the added 90 minutes of usage over last year’s X. For comparison’s sake, last year’s biggest iPhone – the iPhone 8 Plus – had a 2,691mAh battery. This is an upgrade to the iPhone 8, but it grabs a similar notched display as the two XS devices.
The information comes from a certification body in China, which published documents confirming the exact specifications of the battery packs and which was found by MyDrivers.
It’s probably a good idea to wait this year out and see what Apple brings to the table with the next iPhone.
It was only past year that they moved to OLED displays with the iPhone X. Whereas Android flagships have them for quite sometime now.
