Samsung’s New Galaxy Phone Has a Triple Camera Setup
Samsung Mobile President DJ Koh said earlier this month that the company would bring more cutting-edge features to the company’s midrange phones. The launch of the Galaxy A7 shows that Samsung is no longer reserving features like a triple camera for its flagship devices.
The smartphone will be initially introduced in selected European and Asian markets including India starting October. Defying industry convention, Samsung is debuting its first-ever triple lens camera on this phone. Only around 50,000 PKR.
Huawei was the only one to experiment with a three-camera setup by now on its P20 Pro.
The Galaxy A7 also has a 6-inch AMOLED FHD display with a 1080 x 2220 resolution, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage, and a 3,300mAh battery. The enhanced battery life, enabled in part by the Exynos 9110 Dual core 1.15GHz processor, offers the wearer a genuine edge in terms of effortless connectivity, as told by Samsung. There will be options for three different memory configurations such as 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB or 6GB/128GB.
The highlight of the device is the triple camera arrangement on the back. The speculation about this unit is this will be the lowest price among the four with lower end specs.
For the camera, on the back, it has a 24-megapixel, F1.7 camera accompanied with an 8-megapixel, F2.4 ultra-wide, 120-degree sensor and a 5-megapixel, F2.2 depth sensor (for those portrait photos).
Anyone shopping for high-end Android handsets is likely to ignore that product name because it screams mid-range and affordable. According to AllAboutSamsung, the Galaxy S10 rear camera system would consist of a 12MP main lens with variable apertures, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Though the company is yet to release the price, reports suggest the device will come with premium pricing at about $410 (approx Rs 25,650).
The Samsung Galaxy Watch goes right up against the Apple Watch series, and it comes with dust- and water-resistant built proven by the IP68 rating.
The phone is expected to launch this fall in Pakistan around Oct or Nov, however, a final date hasn’t been announced yet.
It’s unclear when it’ll launch, or how much it’ll cost.
